Inline editing from the Content list
You do not have to open each page to manage its metadata. The Content list lets you edit key fields directly in the table, so you can work through many pages quickly.
Editable columns
Three columns in the Content list support inline editing. Each shows a small + button when the field is empty, or an edit (pencil) button when it already has a value:
- Owners - add or change the people responsible for the page.
- Expires - set, change, or clear the expiration date.
- Archiving - schedule or cancel archiving for the page.
How it works
Hover over a cell in one of these columns and click the + or pencil button. A small editor opens in place; make your change and save. The table updates immediately, without a page reload.
Inline editing is ideal for cleaning up a filtered view - for example, assigning owners to every page in a space that currently has none.
