Content statuses

Every item ConfluClean tracks is assigned a lifecycle status. Statuses are the foundation of the app: dashboards, automations, and notifications all build on them.

Why statuses matter​

Confluence grows quickly, and old content rarely gets cleaned up on its own. Over time, outdated pages bury the documentation your team actually relies on, search gets noisier, and trust in the wiki erodes.

Statuses give you a clear, consistent signal for every page so you can act with confidence: keep what is current, review what is aging, and archive what is no longer needed.

The five statuses​

ConfluClean classifies content into five statuses:

  • Up to Date - no issues detected
  • Stale - not modified within the threshold
  • Inactive - not viewed within the threshold
  • Expired - past its expiration date
  • Excluded - intentionally removed from tracking
