Getting started with ConfluClean
ConfluClean helps Confluence teams keep their spaces healthy by tracking the lifecycle of every page. This guide walks you through installing the app and getting your first results.
Install from the Marketplace
- Open the ConfluClean listing on the Atlassian Marketplace, or install it directly from your Confluence instance under Apps > Find new apps.
- Click Get it now and confirm the installation. ConfluClean is built on Atlassian Forge, so it runs entirely inside your Atlassian Cloud site - there is nothing to host and no credentials to provide.
- Once installed, ConfluClean appears in your Confluence navigation under Apps > ConfluClean.
First launch and onboarding
The first time you open ConfluClean, you are greeted by a short onboarding screen that explains what the app does and what the initial scan will analyze.
No configuration is required to get started. ConfluClean ships with a sensible default scheme (the Standard Lifecycle) so you can see results immediately and fine-tune later.
Start your first scan
Click Start initial scan to let ConfluClean analyze your Confluence content. The scan discovers your spaces, inspects every page, and assigns each one a lifecycle status.
A progress bar shows the scan advancing through your spaces. Depending on the size of your instance this takes anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
When the scan finishes, you land on the Overview dashboard with your first health snapshot.
