Managing content lifecycle
Once ConfluClean has classified your content, you can act on it. This section covers everything you can do to keep pages current, assign responsibility, and retire content that is no longer needed.
What you can do
- Quick actions - keep, expire, set owners, exclude, or archive a page in one click.
- Setting owners - assign people responsible for content.
- Expiration dates - give content a shelf life.
- Scheduling archiving - archive now or at a future date.
- Descendant propagation - apply an action to sub-pages too.
- Inline editing - edit metadata directly from the Content list.
Where you act
You can manage content from two places:
- The byline badge popover on any Confluence page (see The byline status badge).
- The Content list inside the ConfluClean app, where you can act on many pages at once.
Every action respects Confluence permissions - you can only manage content in spaces you can access.
