Status schemes

A scheme is a set of lifecycle rules - the statuses ConfluClean tracks and the thresholds that trigger them. Schemes let you apply the right policy to the right space.

Why schemes are useful

Not all content ages the same way. A fast-moving project space might consider a page stale after 30 days, while a stable policy library is fine for a year. Schemes let each team or space follow rules that match how it actually works, instead of forcing one policy across the whole site.

How schemes work

• Every space is assigned exactly one scheme.
• The scheme defines the thresholds (days until stale, days until inactive) used when ConfluClean computes statuses.
• ConfluClean ships with a built-in Standard Lifecycle scheme so you get sensible results out of the box.
