Excluded spaces and personal spaces

Not every space should be governed by ConfluClean. Excluding a space removes it from scans, dashboards, and automations entirely.

Excluding a space​

In Administration, choose the spaces you want ConfluClean to ignore. Excluded spaces are skipped during scans, so their content never appears in dashboards and is never touched by automations.

Use this for spaces that are out of scope for content governance - sandboxes, archives you manage separately, or spaces owned by another team.

Exclude all personal spaces​

Personal spaces are often used as scratch areas and rarely need lifecycle management. A single Exclude all personal spaces toggle keeps every personal space out of ConfluClean at once, without having to exclude them one by one.

Impact​

Excluding a space:

  • Removes its content from all dashboards and reports.
  • Stops it from being scanned.
  • Protects it from every automation.

You can re-include a space at any time; its content is picked up again on the next scan.
